why a series?
what four weeks makes possible
A single workshop is a doorway. A series becomes a space you can return to.
Over four evenings, across four weeks, with the same small group, there's time to slow down, make something new, return to it, and let it grow. Each week centres on a different material (such as drawing, clay or writing), following one theme across the month, so the creative process can develop as we add layers and dig a little deeper.
The workshops are rooted in expressive arts: a creative practice built on high sensitivity and low skill, where the focus is on process over perfect. You're invited to explore at your own pace, share only if you'd like to, and see what shows up when you give your creativity time and attention.

Each series focuses on a new topic. The shape stays the same, four evenings, one small group, all materials included, and one ticket that covers the whole journey, but as we move through the year, we’ll explore different topics.
People can leave with pieces they made that tell part of their story, simple creative practices to return to on their own, and a few new familiar faces in the city. Friends and partners are also welcome to come along and share in a creative adventure too.
More than anything, this is a space to express and explore, using the creative process to engage with what matters to us and to connect more meaningfully with ourselves and others.
