creative experiences for curious people

What is expressive arts?

Expressive arts is a multimodal practice that invites expression through visual arts, movement, sound, writing, and sensory exploration.

It centres on the creative process itself — noticing what emerges and reconnecting with presence and possibility. It's not about being "good" at art, but values experience and awareness over aesthetics.

By engaging the senses and imagination, it helps you tap into inner resources and uncover new perspectives for growth and insight.

What this practice offers:

  • an improved sense of well-being

  • reduced stress and overwhelm

  • access to personal strengths and resources

  • new ways of seeing and responding to life

  • tools for self-discovery and learning with play

  • creative empowerment

Ways to work together

expressive arts for connection, creativity, and clarity

Group Creative Sessions

reflection, expression, community

Creative workshops where people can slow down, connect with themselves and others, and create together. Sessions draw on different expressive modalities and are often centred on a theme or explore a specific topic.

Offered as one-off sessions or ongoing series, each workshop is a guided, accessible creative exploration for meaning-making and play.

Teams & Organisations

communication, connection, collaboration

Group sessions that support team well-being, closer collaboration, and improved communication. Using simple creative tools, these workshops open space for new ideas, shared insight, and meaningful dialogue.

Sessions can be tailored to a specific topic and offer an alternative to traditional team-building grounded in creativity and human connection.

Expressive Arts Coaching

one-to-one, resourcing, explorative

A supportive space for personal reflection and creative self-exploration. Depending on your needs, sessions may include writing, visual arts, movement, or sound as creative practices to support expression and insight.

This personal creative work can foster deeper awareness, emotional resilience and sense of possibility, with a focus on inner resources.

How it works: The process

1.

Arrive & Settle: landing

Through simple grounding exercises, you’re invited to shift from the outside world into a creative space and arrive here gently.

2.

Be Curious & Create: explore

You’ll be guided through accessible exercises using different materials. There’s no right way with a high-sensitivity, low-skill approach.

3.

Reflect & Close: integration

We end with reflection and optional sharing. This time is to witness, close the exploration and prepare to step back into everyday life.

About the sozo space

Hi, my name is Zoé. I created the sozo space as a place where art meets awareness, where expression becomes a way of listening and curiosity becomes a path home.

I’m an expressive arts facilitator with a background in psychology, writing, marketing, and visual communication, and I’m currently completing expressive arts therapy training.

Each session is held with care, sensitivity, and a grounded professional practice, making room for what is tender, shifting, or quietly taking shape.
