Terms & conditions
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, workshops, and offerings provided by the sozo space.
2. Nature of services
the sozo space offers expressive arts facilitation, creative workshops, and reflective group experiences.
These services do not constitute psychotherapy, medical treatment, or psychological counselling and do not replace professional medical or therapeutic care.
3. Booking and payment
Bookings become binding once confirmed. Payment terms, prices, and conditions are communicated at the time of booking or registration.
4. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation conditions are stated in the respective event or service description.
Tickets for workshops and series are sold through Eventbrite, whose terms also apply to your purchase. The refund window for each event is stated in the event listing and on the event page. Unless stated otherwise: you can cancel and receive a full refund up to 7 days before a single workshop, and up to the date given for a workshop series. After that, refunds aren't possible, but you're always welcome to pass your place to someone else, just email me their name before the event. If I have to cancel an event, you'll receive a full refund. Because workshops take place on a fixed date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB).
5. Participation and responsibility
Participation in all offerings is voluntary and at the participant’s own responsibility. Participants are responsible for their physical and emotional well-being during sessions.
6. Liability
Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for injury to life, body or health and for breach of essential contractual duties. No liability is assumed for personal belongings.
7. Applicable law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
